For our final feature in celebrating the Latinos behind the scenes this Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re shining a spotlight on Adolfo Romero, a powerhouse shaping Los Angeles entertainment from the heart of Inglewood.
Adolfo Romero is the Vice President of Programming and Booking for SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park, overseeing concerts, festivals, and global sporting events across the nearly 300-acre entertainment campus in Inglewood. Since joining in 2019, he’s played a key role in bringing world-class events like Super Bowl LVI, Rolling Loud California, and the 2026 FIFA World Cup to Los Angeles. A proud advocate for Latino representation, Romero has helped make SoFi Stadium a home for major Latin artists, including Julión Álvarez’s record-breaking three sold-out shows and serves as a founding board member of Latinx In Sports, mentoring the next generation of Hispanic leaders in the industry.
In his recent conversation with CALI 93.9’s own José Quintero, Romero opened up about his upbringing and the values that shaped his journey. He shared how he came to the U.S. at just five years old with his parents, who worked cleaning hotel rooms and in restaurant kitchens. From an early age, Romero’s curiosity and drive pushed him to learn and grow, traits that continue to define his leadership today.
