MTV announced the performers for the 2019 Video Music Awards. El reggaeton estara bien representado with performances by Bad Bunny, J Balvin, and Rosalia.
This multicultural lineup viene despues que los VMA’s fueron criticados por no incluir “Despacito” hace 2 años. “Despacito” was the most-viewed video in history and the No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100. Ni Luis Fonsi o Daddy Yankee fueron nominados or asked to perform at the show.
Teniendo artistas como Bad Bunny, J Balvin and Rosalia demuestra que Latin music and Spanish-language songs keep dominating streaming charts worldwide. And not to mention, the VMS’s left out the Latin category por 4 años consecutivos anteriormente.
