Residente compartió on Instagram una foto con Bernie Sanders, who visited the Puerto Rican singer. Residente joked, que Bernie fue a pedirle azúcar.

“I had to stop writing because Bernie Sanders came to the house to borrow sugar. One thing led to another and we ended up talking about a lot of things,” dijo Rene, quien apoyó a Sanders en su campaña presidencial en el 2016.

Residente is a known activist, and always gets involved en la pelea para derechos humanos, más reciente in the governor’s resignation in Puerto Rico.
