“No fue un concierto, fue una experiencia.” Asi lo dijo Rafael “Raphy” Pina aka Pina Records, the famed promoter behind Daddy Yankee’s Con Calma Pa’l Choli tour. La serie de conciertos fue en Diciembre at Puerto Rico’s José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum.

The 42-year-old Reggaetonero sold out more show dates than any artist at “El Choli” in history. However, thambien hubo malos momentos en los conciertos. Vandals decided to shoot up the venue one night. Also, Yankee got stuck on a descending platform for several minutes la siguiente noche. Daddy Yankee uso esa oportunidad to make the most of his time at El Choli by offering a free “make-up” performance the following weekend.

According to the producer Pina Records, Con Calma Pa’l Choli saw “more than 170k” people in attendance over only the course of one month. The concert series also concluded at 12 shows with over 12 million dollars collected in ticket sales.
