Selena has teamed up with her mother, Mandy Teefey, and The Newsette founder/CEO Daniella Pierson. All three women have some type of mental illness. In the “Wondermind” website, Mandy Teefey reveals she was misdiagnosed for over 20 years with bipolar disorder, and instead she had ADHD. Daniella Pierson also revealed she has dealt with OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) since she was a child.

Because of the struggle for a safe place and the lack of information they created “Wondermind.” The app is set to launch in February of 2022.
