Su programa en KLLI, ganador de Marconi, es el primer y único programa matutino en español dirigido por una mujer en Los Ángeles, el mercado de radio más competitivo del país. Ella es la primera ganadora en esta categoría Gracies!

“Radio is one of the most intimate performance platforms that I’ve had the honor to work on,” commented Angelica Vale, known to her fans as ‘La Vale,’ adding, “radio’s massive live reach and instant connection to our community is one of the most amazing responsibilities I’ve held. And as a woman leading this effort, it’s by far the most rewarding.”

Meruelo Media VP of Audio Brands Haz Montana added, “In two short years, Angelica Vale has connected with the Los Angeles community with her unique perspective, energy, and optimism on the Cali 93.9 morning show. Being informative and entertaining while live and local is a huge task and responsibility, and we’re so proud that Angelica has more than met the moment.”

Presented by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation, the Gracies recognize individual achievements created by, for, and about women in all facets of media and entertainment. Now in its 47th year, the annual award program was created with the aim to recognize individuals in media who reflected the changing roles, issues, and concerns of women.

Angelica is passionate about family and community health. Her content is fun and lively, and always entertains and informs listeners on today’s trending topics and subjects that empower women and the LA community. While Angelica is visited by a multitude of celebrities as part of her show, her interviews focus on her guests’ positive and uplifting personal stories.

Angelica Vale continues to be one of the most respected and versatile entertainers in the US and Latin America. Her work in theater will be recognized this year with a Star on the world-famous Hollywood Walk of Fame.
