Prime Video gave a first look at season two’s first episode, “Christmas Eve” from With Love. This show is all about family. It’s a romantic dramedy centered on siblings Lily and Jorge Diaz as they navigate big life changes and rely on their equally big family to get them through.

Actress Emeraude Toubia talks with Luisa Rodriguez about her character Lily Diaz and how she navigates love, life, and family. Following her whirlwind romance with Santiago, Lily decides to focus all her energy on a personal journey of self-love by growing her makeup styling business and looking into homeownership. But when both Santiago and Nick profess their feelings for her, Lily wrestles with what is best for her future.

Emeraude Toubia relates to Lily’s character on a  personal level and tells Luisa the pressure of this perfect fairy tale doesn’t exist. “We are navigating love, we are navigating social expectations, family expectations, Latino family expectations. ‘When are you getting married?’ ‘When are you having kids?’ ‘Be successful, but don’t be too successful’ says Emeraude, but wait a minute what do I want.”

This show helps bring light to this topic all while making us gasp like the telenovelas and laugh like a good roasting season.

Season 2 is out now, available to stream on prime video.
